East Coast Director
Hunter Tower serves as the East Coast Director for the Freedom Foundation, where he oversees operations, outreach, and development across the Eastern half of the United States.
Before joining the Freedom Foundation, Hunter held several senior political and organizational leadership roles, including Executive Director of the Republican Committee of Lancaster County, Field Director with the Pennsylvania Republican Party (PAGOP), and Campaign Manager for a Connecticut State Representative race. He also lobbied Congress on behalf of Theta Chi Fraternity and the Fraternal Government Relations Coalition (FGRC) in support of the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act (CHIA).
His work and commentary have been featured in national and regional outlets such as RealClearPolitics, The Daily Caller, The Daily Signal, Center Square, Broad + Liberty, Penn Live, City & State, and The Epoch Times. He served as both a member and Parliamentarian of the Pennsylvania Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and has facilitated numerous national and regional events for Theta Chi, where he also serves as President of his chapter’s Alumni Nonprofit Corporation.
Hunter has been recognized with civic honors such as being named a Kentucky Colonel and Arkansas Traveler. He is a member of several heritage and leadership organizations, including the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), The Pennsylvania Society, The International Churchill Society, and the Texas Navy Association. He also previously served on the Kennett Township Zoning Hearing Board.
Hunter earned his B.A. in Political Science from Widener University.
