Chairman of the Board
Tom McCabe is Chairman of the Board of the Freedom Foundation.
Tom served as the Freedom Foundation’s CEO from December 2013 to January 2021. Under his leadership, the Foundation focused entirely on freeing workers from government union bondage while exposing and combating abuses of corrupt government union leaders. The single focus galvanized staff, energized donors and developed a model that would be exported to every state.
Before joining FF, Tom led the Building Industry Association of Washington for 21 years. Prior to coming to Washington State, Tom worked in the Reagan Administration in DC.
Tom and his wife Susan live in Olympia.
