Senior Development Officer
Judy Cook has returned to the Freedom Foundation as Senior Development Officer. Judy works to cultivate lasting relationships with donors and find new partners for the Freedom Foundation’s ongoing mission.
Prior to rejoining the Freedom Foundation, Judy served as the Senior Director of Development for the Foundation for Government Accountability. Over the course of her previous decade-long stint at the Freedom Foundation, Judy worked in both the communications and development departments.
A twenty-year veteran of corporate America, Judy honed her knowledge of sales, advertising, management, and training at telecommunications giants Verizon, GTE and Pac Bell. Judy was also part of the research team for 11 of Citizens United’s documentary films, including Hillary: The Movie, (which led to the landmark Supreme Court case) and sat on the board of directors for the Hollywood Congress of Republicans.
Her varied experience includes film and radio production, several years as an optical assistant and Judy spent her early years as a performing and recording guitarist and songwriter.
Judy is a lover of music, travel, and cooking. She is a fan of the New York Yankees and loves spending time with family and friends.
