Orange County native Kacie Bowers joined the Freedom Foundation’s legal team in July 2021, working in our Oregon office. Before settling in Oregon, Kacie studied musical theater in New York and earned a BA in Theater from the University of Utah (Go Utes!). Upon graduating, Kacie worked primarily in education and spent a year abroad teaching in the Czech Republic. She is passionate about the law, politics, and fighting to preserve our constitutional rights. In August 2022, she successfully obtained her Master of Arts degree in Law with a focus on Advanced Paralegal Studies from Regent University, where she was also honored with the 2022 Outstanding Graduate Award for the MA in Law program!

Even though Kacie’s background is more centered on the arts, the law has always been in her blood. Her grandfather was a judge on the Washington State Supreme Court. Because of his career, she grew up engaged in family discussions about law, politics, and history. She is very grateful for the opportunity to be a paralegal with the Freedom Foundation and stand up to union corruption!
