Matthew Hayward brings over a decade of innovative leadership and hands-on experience to the Freedom Foundation, where he has been instrumental in creating and expanding the organization’s national outreach programs. As the architect of the Freedom Foundation’s national expansion, Matthew developed cutting-edge strategies that have redefined grassroots activism and coalition-building across the country.
Prior to joining the Freedom Foundation, Matthew honed his organizational and leadership skills as a supervisor at the Washington State Department of Agriculture, where he coordinated initiatives between federal and state agencies, tribal governments, and volunteer organizations throughout Puget Sound.
Matthew’s career is defined by his passion for empowering individuals to understand and exercise their Constitutional rights. Whether organizing volunteers, managing high-profile campaigns, or helping workers navigate union opt-out processes, he remains steadfast in his commitment to individual liberty and limited government.
