As the nation’s leader in reaching public employees with information about their union rights, the Freedom Foundation naturally offers the best of all the nation’s “union opt-out” resource webpages:

More than a dozen states have specific resource pages, and union-specific resources are available for more than 100 government unions. Each page offers a simple service to create “opt-out” letters addressed to their specific unions. For those who don’t find their union, also offers a generic resignation letter.

This is an astonishing resource positioning the Freedom Foundation as the leading facilitator of union resignations. For example, our new Ohio outreach is getting accelerated by offering specific pages for each of the major unions on the Ohio state page. Scores of Ohio workers have already used our website to end dues payments.

The page for each union commonly includes information about how the union bosses choose to spend dues money, answers to commonly asked questions, and often examples of union staff  salaries and alarming expenditures.

To date, tens of thousands have used this resource to exercise their right to end payment to government unions. Public employees in all states have accessed the page to opt out of their union.

The Freedom Foundation uses direct mail, email, door-to-door canvassing, handouts at government buildings and other methods to inform workers of their rights. We’ve even used airplanes with banners. All our outreach material directs government workers to our powerful OptOutToday website.

Over the past month, we’ve seen a 7 percent increase in employees opting out using this resource. One of the recent changes is the growing number of people using the resource because they were referred by someone they know. This is most often a colleague, relative, or friend who originally received opt out information from the Freedom Foundation.

If you know someone paying thousands of dollars over their career to the union machine funding the unpopular ideas of the Left, please refer them to this important source of information and the opportunity to end the union wage garnishment.
